Kia ora koutou katoa,
Keeping Spirits Up Despite the Weather!
As we navigate this rainy weather, we haven’t let it dampen our spirits!
It’s been an incredibly busy term. Here’s a snapshot of our recent highlights:
Aspirational Conversations: Our students have been engaging in meaningful discussions about their goals and aspirations, and we really appreciate the whānau support and attendance at these!
Rangitīkei Tough Kids: Our students showcased their resilience and teamwork at the Rangitīkei Tough Kids event. Well done to everyone who participated!
Life Education Trust Bus: The Life Education Trust Bus visited, bringing valuable lessons and fun learning experiences to our students.
Tuarongo Wellington Visit: Our students had an awesome time in Wellington, expanding their horizons and learning new things.
Jump Jammers in Palmerston North: The Jump Jammers had a fantastic time in Palmerston North, and our regional team is working hard to fundraise for their upcoming trip to Tauranga next term. Thank you to everyone who has supported their efforts!
Kathryn Berkett Community Event/Fundraiser: The BSSG community event featuring Kathryn Berkett was a resounding success! We appreciate all the support and participation from our community. It appears the funds raised were close to $2500 after expenses – awesome effort everyone!
Kapahaka at Manawatu Tattoo Event: Our Kapahaka group proudly represented us at the Manawatu Tattoo event, performing with great enthusiasm and skill. We feel very fortunate to be regularly invited to participate in this internationally acclaimed event. The variety of performers we get to share the stage with is mind-blowing and our tamariki gain incredible lifelong skills from the experience.
Quad Tournaments: We’ve had a fantastic run in the Quad Tournaments, successfully competing in 3 out of 4 events. Great effort to all our participants!
Pet & Ag Day: We’re eagerly anticipating our Pet & Ag Day. Practices for the concert are looking adorable, we’re sure you won’t want to miss this special event.
